Two days ago, Tuesday 11th of September, 2018, we lost another soul of a true legend that left a prominent print in the music industry. Aged 59, French-Algerian Rachid Taha suffered a heart attack that cost him his life and cost us the loss of an icon.
Taha was born in Algeria back in 1958 and by the age of 10, he moved to Lyon, France with his family for good. He rose to fame as the front face of Carte de Séjour and was best known for his fusion of Western punk rock with Arabic raï. His lifelong portfolio surely involves great hits we will all remember and to pay tribute to his soul, the least we could do is share with you his great work of art.
