In Pictures: Everyday Egypt’s New Takeover Project Highlights the People Behind the Photos
Everyday Egypt has always been the ideal platform, showing us the details of Egyptian’s daily lives, beyond the news and the television, as raw as you see it on the streets. The best part about this account is that it covers all the different governorates, giving you an insight into life in each one.
Recently, Everyday Egypt’s team decided to dedicate one week for each of the photographers so the audience can be introduced to the team, and they can each showcase their best work, engage with their followers, and discuss their photos with them. From photojournalists and travel photographers to street photographers and visual artists, the team behind this account has a variety of talents and backgrounds.
The takeover project began with Ali Zaraai, followed by Nadia Monier, and Ahmed Hayman. Hayman was one of the photographers who announced that the pictures he will be sharing during his takeover will be exclusively shared for the first time on Instagram.
