Gigi Hadid’s New Lipstick Is All About Her Arab Roots
With Palestinian roots, American supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid certainly have Arab blood running through their veins, and they have never shied away from showing it. Earlier this year, Bella told Porter that she’s proud to be Muslim.
Gigi’s recent market move, on the other hand, basically just proved that she — along with her family — are Arab through and through. She joined forces with Maybelline and named one of the lipsticks “Khair,” which translates to benevolent. The color which is a shade of red happens to be Bella’s favorite.
It was also revealed by Gigi that Khair is Bella’s middle name — and if that isn’t the most Arab thing in the world, we don’t know what is.
