Football Spectacle: Cairo Stadiums Set for Full Capacity Action in African Finals

In a highly appreciated announcement, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has decided that Cairo Stadium will operate at full capacity for the Egyptian leg of the upcoming finals of the African Champions League and Confederation Cup.

This decision will facilitate the attendance of at least 70,000 fervent spectators, eagerly anticipating the showdown between football powerhouses Al Ahly and Zamalek as they seek continental glory.

The fact that the two events will occur in the same week hypes the excitement even more as Zamalek is set to confront Morocco’s RS Berkane on May 19th for the decisive second leg of the African Confederation Cup Final.

Following this, Al Ahly will engage in an intense classico against ES Tunis on May 25th, following the initial leg in Tunisia on May 18th.

This decision also extends to domestic matches within Egypt, where attendance limits have been elevated to 30,000 at Cairo Stadiums, Burj Al Arab, and other football arenas across the nation. The Ministry ensures that adequate measures have been implemented to safeguard the well-being of attendees.

This move marks a significant shift from previous constraints, where both Al Ahly and Zamalek found themselves playing in front of diminished crowds during recent CAF competitions.

However, with official support from Egyptian authorities, the Cairo giants are now set to benefit from the electric atmosphere of full-capacity stadiums once again, igniting anticipation amongst supporters eager to witness the iconic atmosphere of a full-capacity Cairo stadium.
