English Indie Rock Band, the Kooks, to Return to Dubai for the Second Time!
The Kooks are returning to Dubai for a second round of mind-blowing performances! This is a Brighton-based English indie rock band that was formed in 2004. Their music is heavily influenced by the British Invasion movement of the 1960s and the new millennium’s post-punk resurgence. This is not their first visit to Dubai; they previously performed as part of the Dubai Chill Out festival lineup in 2012. Fans can expect to hear some of the Kook’s wildest tunes when they appear at the Coca-Cola Arena on Sunday, Feb. 27.
The Kooks have received awards before, including the MTV Europe Music Award for Best UK & Ireland Act. Additionally, the group is known around the world for its Brit-pop and post-punk revival tracks, which have received a lot of positive feedback from their fans.
Their five biggest hits over the years include:
Naive
She Moves In Her Own Way
Bad Habit
Seaside
So Good Looking
The headline performance in Dubai is part of the group’s 15th Anniversary International Tour, which also includes stops in the United Kingdom and Europe. “We can’t wait to play in front of our fans in the UAE on Feb. 27th,” the band said, according to dscvr, “Purchase your tickets RIGHT NOW!”
Dubai is well-known for championing musicians and providing them with wonderful and exquisite opportunities to play and ignite the stage! This is a lovely aesthetic method that many countries in the Middle East should adopt and promote, as music is only appreciated by distinct groups of people.
