Egypt’s Rasha Ibrahim Becomes Martial Arts Ambassador Over MENA

Egyptian Shifu Rasha Ibrahim, 43, attained the title “Ambassador of Martial Arts” over Africa and the Middle East, according to the International Martial Arts Times Magazine.

This comes in recognition of her unwavering commitment to the field of martial arts. Her honorary title reflects her status as one of the leading women athletes in the game.

Ibrahim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and she’s a mother of two. Her martial arts journey began with learning Japanese martial arts and earning a black belt in Aikido. She started “Kajukenbo” training three years ago with the representative of the International Kajukenpo Federation, Mahmoud Othman.

In addition to that, she was recently promoted to the Fifth Degree Black Belt by the senior grand master Robert New, making her the first Egyptian and Arab woman to reach this level — such a remarkable point in her career.

She’s now a certified Kajukenbo trainer for women and children at the El Sekka Club in Egypt. The ambassador also participated in lots of international martial arts conferences and events and played in several national championships, collecting two gold medals.
