Egypt’s Ministry Of Education to Build 200,000 Classrooms Worth of LE 100 bn by 2028
Egypt’s Ministry of Education announced on Saturday, the 30th of September, that they are planning to build 200,000 classrooms all over Egypt so that they can provide better educational opportunities for their children.
The estimated value of the classrooms is around 100 billion Egyptian pounds, and that is considered to be one of the highest budgets to ever be dedicated to the educational system in the history of modern Egypt.
According to Egypt Independent; the Minister of Education Tarek Shawki stated that they took to this initiative to provide a solution to the rapidly-growing number of Egyptian students, which he discussed with President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi.
