In case you haven’t left your house since Ramadan ended, the Egyptian streets have been bombarded with Marassi billboard ads that are supposedly motivational. The theme goes as: get ripped for Marassi, get simple for Marassi, get silly for Marassi. Yet all Egyptians want to do is eat zalabia in Marassi – guilt-free.
