Designers in the MENA Region, the Fashion Trust Arabia Might Be Your Big Break!
The fashion scene in the MENA region has been on a roller coaster of evolution and progression this past decade. The celebrities on red carpets have been endorsing up and coming local talents thus bringing more exposure for the younger generation of designers.
Yet, there are thousands of unexplored hidden gems out there that just need the proper funding and nurturing to blossom into the Balmains and Zac Posens of the region. Fashion Trust Arabia‘s Prize is an annual unique non-profit initiative that plans on shedding light on the rapidly growing industry while finding and funding the best talents out there.
All you have to do is apply if you have two years of experience in the business and a showcased collection of women’s wear or accessories. The four categories designers can apply in are evening wear, ready-to-wear (RTW), accessories (Shoes/Bags), as well as fine jewelry and fashion.
A judging panel comprised of globally renowned personalities in the fashion and retail industry, such as Natalia Vodianova and Olivier Rousteing, will determine the winners. The public will also have its say, with an online voting panel starting February 2019.
Applications are open from September 2018 until January 2019.
