The conference places a strong emphasis on engagement and interactive workshops that will immediately impact the attendees’ understanding of what is possible within the boundless world of sustainable innovation.

There will be four panels, four workshops, and 25 speakers who are leading in the field on the local, regional, and international levels. The first day will have the speakers and panels at Sofitel El Geziera, and the second day will have the technical workshops at KMT House in Maadi. The speakers include The Senior Adviser to the Egyptian Minister of Environment as well as the Adviser to the Minister of Planning, Follow-up, Hussein Abaza, International Architectural Adviser of Housing and Urban Development Specialist, Sonja Spruit, and the Deputy Minister for Planning Affairs, Ahmed Kamaly.

“We didn’t want to have people working in solo, so we decided to bring governments, the private sector, and entrepreneurs together to have a discussion and to showcase existing initiatives,” Said Sherif Hosny, the Cheif Executive Officer of Schaduf.

The conference is under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Environment, the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency, Vision of Egypt 2030, and the Egyptian Ministry of Planning, Monitoring, and Administrative Reform. Click here for more about the first round in 2016 and here to buy your tickets.
