Craving Palestine; the Not-for-Profit Recipe Book Working to Keep Palestinian Cuisine Alive
Palestinian cuisine is one of the world’s richest cuisines, so creating a recipe book that features its best dishes is everything a food enthusiast would be after.
With the help of chef Fadi Kattan, Lama Bazzari and her 17-year-old daughter Farrah Abuasad, launched “Craving Palestine“. The not-for-profit cookbook includes 100 recipes of Palestine’s favorite traditional classics and modern reinterpretations of the best ones. A number of artists, celebrities, and public figures, like Mohamed Hadid and Susan Abulhawa contributed to the book in honor of their love for Palestine.
Proceeds from the sales of the first edition will be fully dedicated to Anera, an NGO that supports and promotes education, health, and development programs, as well as refugees and refugee camps, among other humanitarian causes.
