Celebrate the UAE’s “Joy of Reading” All Month Long With These Arab Authors

Following the success of the “Year of Reading” that was launched back in 2016 by H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai who then declared that every March would be an annual month of reading, and 2020 is no exception. As Abu Dhabi’s Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development has announced that this year’s month of reading theme is going to be on “Joy of Reading” and we’re very excited to start reading all the books that we’ve piled up but never read.

According to the website of the ministry, it shows that it has been closely working with a number of authorities as well as organizations to ensure the implementation of the initiatives, events, and projects to help promote the importance of reading since it’s a key element in the UAE’s agenda as a nation.
