UberX Has Arrived In Cairo!

The UberX blog has just announced its launch in Cairo. Although it will be mainly servicing the Mohandessin/Giza area until its official release, the rest of Cairo will be able to enjoy this safe, cheap, and reliable service very soon.

So what is UberX?

UberX is a new way to transport around the city in a safer and more comfortable way than a taxi, but without the added cost of a limousine. You download the app, register with a credit card and just click – that’s it. The GPS will locate you and send a driver your way for a comfortable, cashless commute. In the Middle East, UberX has already been up and running in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Beirut – and now Cairo!
