Lenah’s friends would describe her as easy going, chill and a straight shooter: she says it like it is. She adores her huge, loud and proud Egyptian family, including of course the latest addition; her wonderful fiancé who has somehow managed to fit his way into the crazy bunch. Her dream is to become a foreign correspondent, taking her baby along with her (that is her Sony VG-10 camera). She has a weak spot for greasy American food, witty humor, and sad romance movies.

Diaries of a Bride to Be: The Road to Paree, Part One

Lenah Hassaballah Oct 28, 2013
I’m known to be a big mouth, meaning if anything significant happens in my life, I have to let every single person I've met know about it. (Hence, me writing this column!) Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t do it to show off or anything, it’s just that when I’m overly excited about something, I get really hyper and the only way for me to calm…

Street Voices: “You Know You’re Egyptian When…”

Lenah Hassaballah Oct 18, 2013
Of course, this doesn't even cover a quarter of what it's like to be Egyptian, but we tried to cover a few things. Definitely expect some sequels to this!
