Art Cairo Opens Its Doors For Its 4th Edition At The Grand Egyptian Museum With 30 Galleries
Running from Feb. 11-14, Art Cairo, the world’s newest Middle Eastern art fair, returns for its 4th edition at the iconic Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Formerly known as Egypt International Art Fair, Art Cairo is currently featuring 30 galleries from 10 Arab countries with works by more than 150 artists.
The fair will be providing a platform to empower Arab artists, from promising, emerging artists to the most important 20th and 21st-century artists to showcase their work in one of the most important spaces in the world.
It is great to see the collaboration and team work of different art galleries, participating are Gallery Zamalek, Art Talk Gallery, Gallery Misr, Azad gallery, Picasso East, Le Lab Gallery, Mashrabia Gallery, Medra, and Shelter art space. Additionally, there will also be a number of Arab art galleries present, including Saudi Arabia’s Erram, Fine Art in Kuwait, Qode and Wadi Finan from Jordan, Abu Dhabi’s Khawala Foundation, and Dubai’s Fann A Porter.
Mohamed Younes, Co-founder of Art Cairo Fair expressed in a recent press release that he is super thrilled that the fourth edition will be taking place at one of the largest and most renowned museums in the world, The Grand Egyptian Museum.
The 4th edition of Art Cairo will bring “special additions,” as Younes said, to art amateurs and professionals by hosting a number of prominent galleries across the region providing outstanding artistic experiences to Art Cairo’s audience.
