All the Way From Doha to Cairo, #FTAPrize2021 Moves to Egypt!
Fashion Trust Arabia (FAT) is an annual non-profit organization that aims to provide financial support, business support, and international recognition to the MENA region’s fashion designers. And we’re here to give you the good news; FAT just launched their #FTAPrize2021 regional campaign from the heart of beautiful Cairo, collaborating with an inspiring community of local creatives across industries in order to invite Egypt’s most prominent and talented fashion designers to apply and win the FTA prize.
According to FTA’s application, “For the Evening Wear, Ready to Wear, Accessories and Jewelry categories, applicants must be in business for a minimum of two to 10 years. Winners of these categories will receive a financial grant of up to $200,000 for key areas of business development. Grants are tailored to each winner in line with their brand objectives. Winners will also receive a personalized one-year mentoring program delivered by FTA’s retail partners and a global network of industry professionals, covering a variety of topics relevant to fashion businesses. FTA’s international collaborating retailers will also stock the collections of the winning designers on their retail platforms.”
The ceremony is scheduled to take place in March 2021, during which the finalists will present their collections to FTA’s judging panel, which includes international industry leaders as well as important figures who will collectively select the lucky winners.
