Frozen yogurt is trending, and it’s easy to see why. It’s basically ice cream’s lighter, tangier cousin: cold, creamy, and still very much a dessert. So, if you’re looking for a sweet treat that feels a little less heavy, here are some spots in Egypt to add to your froyo list.
Froçaí
If you like your dessert with a wellness-girl twist, Froçaí is worth checking out. This Egyptian spot combines Greek frozen yogurt with açai, letting you build your own bowl with toppings like fresh fruit, granola, nuts, and sauces. It currently has a beachside location at Caesar Sodic in Ras El Hekma, making it the perfect option for a sweet treat by the beach.
Yolé
Yolé is basically made for anyone who wants dessert without feeling like they’ve completely abandoned their healthy habits. The brand offers zero-sugar-added frozen yogurt, alongside its dairy-free, zero-sugar-added ice cream options. You can customise your cup with fruits, sauces and crunchy toppings, or go for flavours like mixed berries, mango passion fruit, pistachio, peanut butter and chocolate hazelnut. In Egypt, you can find Yolé at places including Mall of Egypt, Majarrah Mall in Sheikh Zayed and City Center Almaza.
Pinkberry
The OG froyo name on this list, Pinkberry is still a go-to if you’re after that classic frozen-yogurt experience. Its Egyptian menu includes flavours such as Original, Pomegranate, Chocolate Hazelnut, Passion Fruit and Strawberry, with plenty of toppings and other sweet options to build your perfect cup. Pinkberry currently lists branches including Open Air Mall, District 5 and Cairo Festival City, while other locations include Citystars and Mall of Egypt.
TBS
You probably know TBS for its pastries, sandwiches and coffee, but the bakery chain also has a seriously extensive footprint across Egypt, from Cairo and Alexandria to the North Coast. Its branches include Zamalek, Maadi, Mohandeseen, New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, Alexandria and multiple Sahel destinations. TBS has officially launched its Frozen Greek Yoghurt Cups, bringing a lighter way to satisfy your sweet tooth with 10g of protein, no added sugar, and plenty of flavour.
Yogo Haus
For something a little more local and very much made for the current froyo obsession, Yogo Haus focuses on scoopable Greek frozen yogurt made with real Greek yogurt, with rayeb added for probiotics and sweetness coming from honey or monk fruit. Its current lineup includes flavours such as Berry Parade, Vanilla Dreamin and Velvet Speculoose, with newer flavours including Mango, Coconut and Wild Berry. You can also find its frozen-yogurt cups through delivery platforms, so you don’t necessarily have to leave the house to satisfy the craving.
Frozen yogurt is having a major moment, and honestly, we get the hype. Creamy, cold and a little lighter than your usual ice cream fix, froyo is the perfect sweet treat when you want to indulge without going completely overboard. From classic favourites like Pinkberry and Yolé to newer spots like Froçaí and Yogo Haus, these are the froyo spots worth trying across Egypt.
