The UAE Falcons Federation has approved the launch of the Emirates Falcons International Cup, an annual event kicking off in the 2025–2026 season. For the first time, a falconry championship bearing the UAE’s name will be staged beyond its borders, under the leadership of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Hosting rights will be awarded to the member nation of the International Federation for Falconry Sports and Racing that demonstrates the highest level of readiness and compliance with the event’s standards.

The move is part of a broader strategy to elevate falcon racing to a globally recognized sport, preserving a cherished Emirati heritage while aligning with modern sporting standards.
