Dubai To Host World’s First Floating Fashion Week!
Dubai will be hosting the Arab world’s first ever Floating Fashion week as part of the 6th edition of the Arab Fashion Week, which runs from May 8th until the 12th. The event will be held onboard of the Queen Elizabeth II at Port Rashid, the first floating hotel in the Middle-East.
Passengers can expect to be treated like royalty, with culinary delights, a bustling nightlife scene, art to enjoy, and much more! Fashion models will walk up the runway to showcase some of the latest trends in fashion, all while they’re on a floating hotel.

This season of the Arab Fashion Week has brought in designers from all across the world, with countries such as Egypt, the UAE, China, Russia, UK and more. Not only that, but the event will also see the birth of a new collection that’s all about eco-friendliness; dubbed the AFC Green Label. Earlier this Monday the Arab Fashion Council, responsible for organizing the event, announced their partnership with Dubai Investment company MBM Holding.
