The Egyptian Football Association, headed by Hani Abou Rida, confirmed that 50,000 fans will be allowed to attend Egypt’s World Cup 2026 qualifier against Ethiopia.
In an official statement, the association confirmed the match will kick off at 10:00 PM on Friday, September 5, at Cairo International Stadium—marking the seventh round of qualifiers.
They further detailed that tickets will be made available through the “Tazkarti” platform at accessible prices to ensure widespread fan participation.
All stadium stands will be opened to accommodate the expected turnout. The association emphasized that the unwavering support of Egyptian fans has always been a driving force for the national team, and their presence will be critical in the journey toward World Cup qualification
