“The US-led attack on Syria will be seen as limited if it is now over and there is no second round of strikes,” a senior official in the regional alliance that has supported President Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian war has said.
“If it is finished, and there is no second round, it will be considered limited,” the official told Reuters.

The targets were “accurately selected” to affect the Syrian’s regime capability to manufacture more chemical weapons. It’s worth mentioning that Russian Foreign Minister has stated in an official statement that “the suspected chemical attack was a fabrication and did not take place”. In addition, according to ABC News that Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed Britain was involved in “faking” the attack, which a Syrian medical relief group said killed at least 60 people, including children.
Pentagon Cheif and Defence Secretary, James Mattis, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph Dunford, just announced that the attack is over and that “it’s a one time shot” but did not rule out further attacks.

During a snap meeting at the white house, US President Donald Trump ordered precision strikes on Syria, just minutes ago, in response to the suspected chemical attack that took place in Syria earlier this week.
According to Business Insider; that this was a combined operation that involved the US, France, and the UK.
Just minutes after Trump was done with his press conference a huge explosion shook the Syrian capital, Damascus and according to the CNN that the attack targeted a research facility center located on the eastern side of the capital.
During Trump’s press conference he stated that “A short time ago, I ordered the United States Armed Forces to launch precision strikes on targets associated with the chemical weapons capabilities of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad,” stressing on the fact that “America does not seek an indefinite presence in Syria… And we look forward to bringing all our troops home. The fate of the region lies with its own people.”
Also, a Syrian Republican Guard base was attacked during the assault. At press time, the official number of casualties has not been declared.
