Saudi Arabia’s music scene is blowing up, and these DJs are right at the heart of it. From spinning at global festivals to building entire movements, these artists are putting Saudi sound on the map — and doing it their own way. Whether you’re into house, EDM, downtempo, or diaspora blends, there’s someone here to add to your playlist.
Baloo
One of the OGs. Baloo has been spinning since the ‘90s and is now the Chief Creative Officer at MDLBEAST. He’s known for fusing global house music with Middle Eastern vibes and is basically a founding father of Saudi’s electronic music scene.

Nooriyah
Born in Saudi, raised in Japan, based in the UK — Nooriyah is a globe-hopping force. She’s known for her Boiler Room set that hit over 3 million views and for championing sounds of the diaspora. She’s performed at venues and festivals globally like Glastonbury and even coachella, where she was the only Arab girl there.
Dish Dash
This DJ duo (and brother duo) Hassan and Abbas were among the first to host a party in the Kingdom. Now they’re regulars at MDLBEAST and international stages, mixing Saudi pride with festival energy.
Their sets blend innovative techno and tech-house sounds, always tailored to get massive crowds moving.
Cosmicat
Dentist-turned-DJ, Cosmicat is one of Saudi’s first female EDM producers and has played everywhere from London’s Fabric to Ibiza. Her genre-blending sets and statement style have made her a role model in the scene.
She’s become a face of Saudi’s creative transformation, showing how women are owning the biggest of stages, like Soundstorm.

Omar Basaad
The first Saudi to perform at Tomorrowland. With MTV EMA nominations and #1 charting tracks, Omar Basaad has been repping the Kingdom on the global stage since the early 2000s.
He’s also credited with producing one of the first official Arabic dubstep tracks, blending heritage with bass.
Malkin
Another Tomorrowland name. Malkin made his debut there in 2022 and dropped his first track in 2021. He’s newer to the game but already making waves with his high-energy EDM.
He’s steadily building a global fanbase and is part of a new generation reshaping Saudi’s EDM presence.
Biirdperson
Biirdperson, the stage name of Saudi DJ and filmmaker Lujain Albishi, is carving out a distinct space in the Kingdom’s electronic music scene. Influenced by underground pioneers and her filmmaking roots, her sets blend sound and storytelling into an emotional journey.
Emerging during the global lockdown, she’s become one of the few female voices in a male-dominated scene, making waves at events like MDLBEAST SOUNDSTORM.

DJ Viva
Saudi-Canadian DJ Viva does it all — producer, performer, and aerial artist. She’s played stages from Soundstorm to Cannes and just dropped an EP with MDLBEAST. Her sets bring serious energy and flair.
She’s also worked with brands like Chanel and Versace, blending fashion with sound in high-profile gigs.

Vinylmode
One of Jeddah’s underground legends. Vinyl Mode mixes deep house with storytelling, and he’s big on radio too — hosting shows to grow Saudi’s electronic music culture. He’s also performed at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and Soundstorm.

Kayan
DJ meets violinist. Kayan blends classical music with electronic beats and performs live with her violin. She’s also part of the Saudi National Orchestra — talk about range.
Her performances fuse live strings with synths and bass, creating a sound that’s both raw and cinematic.

Hatoon Idrees
DJ, oud player, keyboardist, and studio boss — Hatoon does it all. She’s behind the scenes elevating other Saudi artists while also remixing international tracks with her signature local twist.

Final Spin
From breaking gender norms to shaking up global lineups, these Saudi DJs are not just part of the scene — they are the scene. Whether you’re just discovering Saudi sound or already deep in the playlist, these are the names shaping the future of Middle Eastern music.
