10 Stages You’ll Go Through If You’re Not Going to Sandbox This Year
Sandbox Festival has been one of the most anticipated events of the year. British magazine Metro included Nacelle’s beach festival it in their “16 Global Beach Festivals You Have to Visit in 2017.” Taking place in Gouna, the festival will start on the 4th till the 6th of May. This article is not about those who will get to experience love, music, friends, dance, sun, sea and sand this weekend. On the contrary, this article is about the unfortunate others who won’t get to go and experience anything. We know how you feel.
In the very beginning, you don’t really care (or at least try so hard to convince yourself that you don’t)
Then you start getting slightly pissed off every time you hear khabt (trance) music
And then you get more pissed off whenever you see someone trying to get Sandbox tickets on your Facebook feed
You can’t make plans with any friends this weekend because everyone is at Sandbox except you
You then start looking for tickets, knowing full well that it’s too late to get one, then get shut down for being reminded that you’re broke AF and could barely afford that fool and ta3meya sandwich you just ordered
You try to convince your friends not to go to Sandbox but they’re smarter than that
You give up by listening to khabt music and pretending that you like it
Followed up by crying and binge-watching Netflix
And obviously deleting Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook to avoid seeing all your friends’ pictures
You’ll basically spend your time finding alternatives to forget about Sandbox, such as writing this article in the hopes of making yourself feel better but failing
