First Look At Egyptian Rapper Zap Tharwat’s Music Video Against Sexual Harassment

I’ve always heard his name but never watched or listened to his music, but after seeing his latest single and how actually soothing his voice is, I don’t think my musical love affair will stop here.

Tackling one of Egypt’s biggest problems has been something the media, government and its citizens have all turned a blind eye to for the longest time, but with a string of horrendous sexual harassment cases arising, the silence is slowly becoming a loud scream.

In an attempt to bring even more attention and possibly singing to the right demographic , the men who harass the women in the streets and on public transportation, Zap Tharwat has written a beautiful portrayal of what every Egyptian woman goes through on a daily basis.
