After the first half of Ramadan showed us its many shades with swoon-worthy romances, gripping dramas, and everything in between, the excitement isn’t over yet. The second half of Ramadan is bringing just as much entertainment. Here are the series we’re counting down to watch next.
Hekayet Narges
Reham Abdel Ghaffour looks set to deliver a drama that will have everyone talking. Based on a true story, she plays Narges, a woman facing immense societal pressure to have children, pushing her toward lies and illegal choices. With a glimpse into the intensity of Narges’ family and the weight of expectation, the trailer gives us all the reasons to add this series to our watchlist.
El Metr Samir
With a trailer that promises both comedy and drama, Karim Mahmoud Abdelaziz brings his signature humor to a new role as a lawyer who divorces his wife, played by Nahed Al Sebai, only to ironically find himself facing court charges.
Mama W Baba Geran
In a comedy that explores the ups and downs of divorce, Ahmed Dawood and Merna Gamel star as a married couple whose ongoing struggles ultimately lead to separation. But the twist? She moves back into her family’s home: right next door. With exes suddenly turned neighbors, we’re expecting plenty of awkward run-ins, hilarious quarrels, and nonstop chaos.
Ab W Laken
Ab W Laken promises a drama that’s just as entertaining as it is thought-provoking. The series sheds light on the struggles fathers face after separation, following a father portrayed by Ahmed Farrag, alongside Hager Ahmed and Rakeen Saad. It dives into the emotional weight of custody battles and a legal system where fathers are often barely allowed to see their children after divorce.
Ard W Talab
In this gripping drama centered around crime, Salma Abu Deif delivers what looks to be a powerful and intense performance. She takes on the role of a struggling teacher who commits a strange act in a desperate attempt to afford her mother’s life-saving surgery.
Bebo
Blending drama with comedy, the series follows a humble young man played by Ahmed Bahr, aka Kozbara, whose pursuit of his dreams takes him on an eye-opening journey. Along the way, he’s joined by Hala Sedky and Sayed Ragab, promising a story packed with heartfelt drama and plenty of humorous moments.
El Nos El Tany
Abdelaziz El Nos reunites his trusted crew for a new round of thrilling adventures, once again set in the 1940s. After its major success last Ramadan, Ahmed Amin’s El Nos returns for a brand-new season, continuing the journey of a real life-inspired drama infused with Amin’s signature humor.
