The Inspiring Legacy of the Late Dr. Ibrahim Badran
In memory of the late Dr. Ibrahim Badran, his family and friends created a charity under his name to provide medical care to those who are less fortunate. Ibrahim Badran was an inspiring person who dedicated his life and career to helping people. In his honor, his loved ones are continuing his legacy, hoping to help Ibrahim achieve his dreams even after his passing.
Medical support has always been pretty expensive and mostly inaccessible to the less privileged people living in villages. Ibrahim A. Badran Charitable Foundation gives those less privileged the opportunity to get the medical aid they need.
The foundation brings in people from the village, assesses their need for medical support and after they’re examined and investigated, those in need will undergo one of a few treatments that the charity offers.

Heart surgeries
When damage occurs to the blood vessels of the heart or the heart valves, a patient can suffer chest pains, heart attacks or possible heart failure. Ibrahim A. Badran’s Charitable Foundation offers open-heart surgeries and cardiac catheterization for patients suffering from a heart condition to help repair the damage according to how severe the case is.
Eye surgeries
Patients who complain of reduced vision could have a problem with one of the structures in the eye. Ibrahim A. Badran’s Foundation carries out cornea surgeries, cataract or “lens” surgeries and squint surgeries to help improve vision and eyesight as much as possible.
Ear surgeries
Ibrahim A. Badran’s Charitable Foundation aims to aid people with deficiencies in hearing by providing hearing aids for people with problems in hearing or, for the extreme cases, cochlear implant surgeries can be arranged for people who are deaf.
Prosthetics
For those missing certain limbs or suffer from paralysis in certain areas and are unable to move, Ibrahim A. Badran’s Charitable Foundation offers prosthetic limbs and movement devices to help them move.
Medical convoys
With some governorates not having the medical awareness needed, Ibrahim A. Badran’s Charitable Foundation offers medical convoys to all governorates of Egypt, where many people are examined and patients lacking the medical care they need are given the required treatment.
ICU Units
Some ICU units in Kasr Al Ainy Hospital are funded by Ibrahim A. Badran’s Charitable Foundation in order to give patients in need of intense medical care the observation, treatment and care they need.
