Summer is finally here! So it’s the best time to just chill by the waters and enjoy the lovely rays of sunshine. Although it’s the best season of the year, you must take a good care of your hair, skin, and body. Here are some tips for you to keep you healthy this summer.
We all know that there’s absolutely nothing better than the touch of the warm sun on your skin, but be careful, because staying under the sun for too long can damage your skin in the long run. So you should always use a sun lotion of at least SPF 30 in order to protect your skin from UV rays. Also, try to put less makeup or better, no makeup at all in the morning, because your skin usually gets very sensitive, so instead, only apply sunblock.
During summer, the high temperatures and the amount of moisture the body loses can leave you dehydrated. It’s harmful to the body and also makes you eat more food even if you’re not feeling hungry. You should drink at least nine glasses of water a day or make sure to drink fresh juices and eat a lot of greens.
Our hair also suffers a lot during summer. Salt and chlorine leaves your hair limp and dull. Constant heat and sun can damage your hair too. That’s why you should always clean your hair carefully after swimming or after you spend too much time in the sun. You don’t have to buy expensive products to protect your hair. You can use regular shampoos and conditioners to prevent your hair from damage during the summer.
Swimming in the summer is not only for fun, but it’s actually very healthy for your body too. You can burn a lot of calories by just swimming, so if you don’t like the gym or running or any the other exercises, try swimming everyday for at least 15 minutes, and then start to increase the time period throughout the following days. Trust me it’s going to make you lose a lot of weight in no time!
Also, there’s another healthy thing you should try this summer like yoga! It’s very relaxing and it literally recharges you to start the day with a fresh and positive attitude.
