Movie buffs in the MENA region are in for a huge treat; Shashah is going live today! Shasha.com is expected to be the MENA region’s most extensive online guide to movies and TV entertainment. The user-friendly website offers reviews and ratings for films and TV programs and directs users to their favorite OTT platforms and cinema listings, promising to be the most comprehensive guide to Media entertainment in the region with a focus on content for the Arabic-speaking audience.

Shashah will definitely be the MENA’s answer to IMDB, which is a platform that we have been missing greatly as movie enthusiasts in the region, where it’s very hard to find proper information about Arabic movies. The website will have reviews and recommendations that will give the user unbiased opinions on TV shows and movies currently in cinemas and home entertainment, as well as those soon to be shown. Shashah won’t only direct you to watch the movie online or in cinemas, but also on satellite channels!

The website won’t only serve the needs of the Arabic speaking community as it will be bilingual, so English speakers who want to check reviews for Arabic content on different OTT platforms will enjoy the website as well. According to a recent press release, the website’s future plans include information on the latest in gaming and E-sports that are popular in the MENA region.

“We are quite excited about launching this unique service that the Arabic audience is missing. Although there are sources that give extensive reviews on the western content, very few, if any, give credible reviews and ratings on the Arabic content. Shashah intends to fill this gap for the Arabic audience. We will also give our own reviews on the western content available in the MENA region, as well as provide the ratings of other major reviewers,” said the founder of the website.

WE SAID THIS: Super excited to check out the first review on the new platform!
