After the release of his latest album ‘Home Is Changing’, which includes his heartfelt take on the nostalgic Egyptian classic ‘Baba Fein’, the Saudi-Ecuadorian pop sensation Mishaal Tamer is set to make his live debut in Egypt at Boom Room, Open Air Mall (Madinaty) this November 9th, where he’ll also host an exclusive Meet & Greet with fans.
At just 22 years old, Mishaal Tamer has already become one of the region’s most prominent rising voices. Known for his seamless blend of K-pop, indie rock, and modern pop with traditional Arabic sounds, the multilingual artist, who sings in English, Arabic, and Spanish, first turned heads in 2019 with his self-directed debut music video “Arabian Knights”, which has since garnered over 3.8 million views. Since then, his rise has been nothing short of meteoric.
In 2020, Mishaal became the first Saudi artist to sign with a major record label, partnering with RCA Records (US), home to DJ Khaled, Miley Cyrus, and A$AP Rocky and Columbia Records (UK), the label behind megastars like Adele, Beyoncé, and Harry Styles.
In 2023, he took the stage with OneRepublic, joining them as an opening act on their summer tour and collaborating on “Mirage”, the official song for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Following the release of ‘Home Is Changing’ last year and a sold-out European and U.K. tour, it’s about time Mishaal Tamer makes his long-awaited Cairo stop.
