Robot Lifeguards Are Now an Actual Thing in Dubai

. أطلقت بلدية دبي ولأول مرة على مستوى الشرق الأوسط روبوت آلي للإنقاذ البحري على الشواطئ العامة والذي يعتبر من أحدث الإضافات إلى منظومة السلامة العامة للشواطئ التابعة لبلدية دبي وأكثرها ابتكاراً. إدخال هذا النوع من التقنيات يأتي من منطلق حرص البلدية على الحفاظ على أمن وسلامة مرتادي الشواطئ العامة في إمارة دبي، واستجابة لتوجهات حكومة دبي نحو مواكبة أحدث التقنيات والابتكارات في هذا المجال وتأمين كافة المتطلبات والاحتياطات اللازمة لتعزيز عمليات الإنقاذ على الشواطئ العامة. Dubai Municipality has launched for the first time in the Middle East a robot for marine salvage on public beaches, which is one of the latest additions and the most innovative to the public safety of the shores at Dubai Municipality. Dubai one ups itself once again, this time with their robot lifeguards. Yup, that’s an actual thing. Human lifeguards are so 2000 and late, and Dubai obviously knows that. A video was posted on Instagram the other day by Dubai Municipality where it showed a human lifeguard launching the robot into the water to rescue a drowning person.

 

The 11-kg remote-controlled flotation device rescues the swimmer and brings them back to shore. robot lifeguards are officially in duty and are now operating in most of Dubai’s beaches.

 

 

WE SAID THIS: What should we expect next? A robot taxi driver? An android pizza boy?
