You Need to Watch the Teaser to This Dalida Biopic
“Kelma 7elwa w kelmeteen, 7elwa ya baladi.” You’re not Egyptian unless you know all the words to this Dalida song. Actually wait, you’re not Egyptian unless you love Dalida because she was the original queen. Our hearts melted a little when we saw the teaser for Dalida Le Film, a biopic that will show her early days and how the Egyptian-born star shot to fame, as well as her very last days.
Italian actress Sveva Alviti stars in the move as the “Salma Ya Salama” singer, while Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio plays her brother and manager Orlando. The movie is set to be released in over 200 movie theaters in France on January 11th 2017 and we absolutely cannot wait until that happens.
