Nadine Nassib Njeim Shaves Her Head in Solidarity with Cancer Patients
Nadine Nassib Njeim has sported many trendy hairstyles in the past, from choppy bangs to a chic bob. But on June 4th, the Lebanese actress surprised her fans with a shaved head.
During this year’s Ramadan season, the former Miss Lebanon starred in the series Five and a Half, and part of the plot required her to sport a shaved head on the last episode. And instead of masking her hair with a bald cap like most actors, she chose to cut her long hair in solidarity with young cancer patients.
The actress took to Instagram to share a video from the show’s episode with a heartfelt message. In the video, Njeim can be seen getting her hair cut after which she leaves the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) with a shaved head.
