Meanwhile in Egypt: Crowds Take to the Streets of Alexandria to Chant Prayers in Protest of the Coronavirus

A lot has been happening in the streets of Alexandria while the rest of Egypt slept. It started with people praying from their balconies that the Coronavirus pandemic ends soon. However, people decided to take the prayers and chants to the streets, to protest against the coronavirus!

The only problem is that this is exactly how the deadly virus spreads! People have been leading campaigns and taking initiatives to ask and encourage others to stay at home. However, some people found the message very hard to grasp and started moving in large groups to chant against the virus.

There is no clue as to what those people were expecting, but they should know better, that their actions have consequences. Because of their mobility in large groups, the rates will go up and they can pass on the virus to their own families. People need to be more responsible than this and understand that this is not a joke and that staying home is a duty that we all should respect in the fight against the pandemic.

WE SAID THIS: Please stay at home!
