Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced that July brought in a record USD 8.5 billion in local dollar revenues — the highest single-month total in the nation’s history. This figure marks a significant recovery across major economic sectors, signaling improved stability and growing confidence.
Madbouly emphasized that these earnings weren’t driven by volatile “hot money,” but stemmed from real economic activity across industries — including a significant increase in remittances from Egyptians working abroad.
“This rise signals growing trust in the country’s economic stability,” Prime Minister Madbouly said.
