Late Egyptian/Greek Hero Saved the Lives of Four People in China by Donating His Organs!
Last Wednesday, Egyptian/Greek Sherif El Gazzar passed away during a work trip in Guangzhou, China! After falling and severely injuring his head, he was transferred to a hospital where the doctors acknowledged that a surgical interference won’t be of much help at this point.
The hospital asked for his family’s permission to donate his organs and after his sister, Farida El Gazzar, discussed the issue with his mother, they agreed that this would have been Sherif’s wish! Even before Farida signed the permission to the hospital, the Chinese Television broadcasted his mother’s acceptance through a phone call! “It will help us all out, knowing that Sherif’s organs will help save the lives of others,” said Sherif’s Mother.
Hospital employees, the receivers of Sherif’s organs, and their families, all showed sincere gratitude and appreciation to his sister after she signed the permission. Sherif’s kidneys, liver, and heart went on to give new lives to patients that needed them, and the four operations were reportedly successful!
