Immerse Your Kids in Saudi’s Rich Heritage At Riyadh’s Children Of Culture Festival

Gulf countries are no strangers to family-friendly activities, festivals, and events. Throughout the year, in Riyadh alone, there is always an action-packed multi-day extravaganza, including last year’s 10-day toy festival; a literal kids’ dream where children got to play with newly launched toys from the biggest international toy brands. Now, with the current fall and school season, it’s a great time to launch more events, where kids will get to enjoy fun activities to unwind from their school projects and assignments.

To continue its exciting festivities, Riyadh is planning an upcoming Children of Culture Festival set to take place from November 18th until the 20th. The event will aptly coincide with World’s Children’s Day, which takes place every year on Nov 20th, a day all about improving children’s welfare, knowledge, and future.

On the day, kids will take part in several interactive activities that focus on immersing them in their Arabic language, as well as their country’s values and norms. The takeaway is for them to feel pride in their rich Saudi heritage and identity.

The Culture Fest will not be Riyadh’s only kid-centric and family multi-day spectacle, as the country’s biggest annual entertainment and sports festival, Riyadh season, is making a comeback this Friday, Oct.21st. It promises 15 eclectic zones, each one offering a different experience for all ages.

When it comes to the kids, they can hit up the dazzling winter wonderland and take a spin at the park’s exciting rides like their Stomach Churner or the Dizzying Spinner. While for the young animal lovers out there, they can visit Riyadh’s zoo which will make up another of the festival’s many zones.

Whether it’s a toy extravaganza or a cultural immersive festival, 2022 is proving to be a great jam-packed year for Saudi kids to have fun, by tapping into their culture.
