Happy First Birthday, Prince George!
He’s not even one year old yet and he’s already landed his first magazine cover. The adorable Prince George appears on Vanity Fair’s latest, looking at his daddy, Prince William, while his loving mummy, Duchess Kate, holds her little boy.
The photo was taken on their first official tour as a family to Australia and New Zealand three months ago while they were visiting the Taronga Zoo in Sydney.
Vanity Fair contributor Katie Nichol also gives us an inside scoop about the private life of little George: being a loud baby in his first days, Kate’s relief when he behaved well during his first public appearances, his nanny and his nursery redecorations, not to mention the heart-throbbing possibility of George being a big brother very soon!
According to baby gift retailer My1stYears.com, George topped the list of the world’s most stylish babies, with Blue Ivy and North West sharing second place and Alesha Dixon’s daughter, Azura, in fourth and Harper Beckham in fifth.
He has even beaten his own mum for being voted the most stylish royal, according to a survey of 600 people conducted also by my1styears.com.
Since before he was even born, eyes have always been glued to baby George, the royal birth being a Twitter event with an average of 25,000 tweets per minute. As expected, his name climbed three places in the list of most popular boys’ names in just a few days after his birth. Ancestry.com also expects that there will have been a 32% increase in the use of the name “George” by his first birthday, Jul. 22, 2014.
Even whenever he is shown wearing an outfit, it is immediately sold out. It’s “The Prince George Effect”!
If you are wondering how the most popular royal prince will celebrate his birthday, Pippa Middelton wrote, “Your one-year-old will feel most at ease with people they know well, so keep their first birthday party familiar and intimate” in The Party Times.
With a coin produced to honor Prince George’s first birthday, we are pretty sure that the young prince will be really pampered, or as they say, “spoiled rotten”.
WE SAID THIS: Happy Birthday, George!
