Got Talent? ‘Iraq Idol’ Just Launched its First-Ever Audition

Iraq Idol is the original version of Arab Idol, but with its own Iraqi twist. It’s going to be the largest entertainment program to air on MBC Iraq that aims to honor Iraq through its talented participants who simply want to add to the Iraqi musical culture.

After the audition stage, the jury will select 12 participants to compete during the weekly live performances. For each live show, the contestant with the fewest audience votes will, unfortunately, be eliminated. In the final episode, however, the winning contestant who received the most votes will be announced at the end.

Through their participation in the program, the contestants will have the opportunity to present their own culture in their own way and promote their singing talent on television screens and all social networking sites.

The casting stage will take place in Iraq, while the filming of the program will take place in the TV studios in Beirut, Lebanon. The final jury or the program presenter is not yet chosen.

Iraq Idol is going to be a one-of-a-kind program to be aired in Iraq, in terms of presenting a global program in a local format, limited to ages between 18 and 28. We can’t wait for it to be aired!

WE SAID THIS: How exciting!
