For the First Time in 5 Years, Over 2000 Tourists Visit Luxor in One Day

Director General of Luxor Antiquities, Mostafa Waziry, just announced that last Friday saw the visit of 2250 tourists to Luxor. “According to our tickets sale, the amount of foreigners who visited the popular tourist attractions reached over two thousand people,” Waziry told Tahrir News.

This is the first time something like this happens since 2011. Only last month, direct flights between London’s Heathrow and Egypt’s Luxor resumed.
