This Egyptian Guy Received 1500 Marriage Proposals in 48 Hours and Here’s Why

Facebook group “Sortak W Enta Soghayar” got out of control when 22-year-old Egyptian student from Zagazig, Mohamed Maghraby, posted a picture of himself in it. Within 48 hours, the Egyptian internet’s thirst flew through the roof; with thousands of girls sending him marriage proposals, friend requests and love messages.

His picture amassed over 27,000 likes and 4,000 comments. He told MBC News that he received over “1500 marriage proposals” from girls on Facebook, but he refused all of them, adding that he doesn’t think about committing into a serious relationship anytime soon and that he wants to focus on his education and passion for photography.
