Egyptian-American Charls Ava Drops Another Song and It’s Stuck on Replay
First Machine, then Idol, and now this; Charls Ava simply never fails to impress. The Egyptian-American artist just released her latest song, Skulls and Bones, only to add another addictive track to your playlist. And we have to say, ever since we heard this one, it’s stuck on replay.
The song with the spooky pads and powerful lyrics is inspired by Ava’s trips to the catacombs in Europe. So again, the rising star’s music tears down the concept of borders and shows us where cultures could intersect to make up worthy art. In Ava’s last music production, Idol, she joined forces with producer Kieran Kelly in NYC and they recorded the song in different places. Guitars and drums were recorded in New York and the bass in Los Angeles, while she recorded the qanun, ney, and her vocals in Cairo. Unlike Idol though, Skulls and Bones has another taste and emits a completely different vibe. We can’t deny, however, that both are solid proof of Charls’ promising bright future.
