Dubai’s Car Enthusiasts Can Now Revamp Their Classic Car With Matching License Plates
In Dubai, buying a new license plate is an activity that every car enthusiast gets excited about. Classic cars in Dubai are now getting a slight, but stylish, makeover. With the new classic license plates, your car will have all it needs for a smooth drive on the streets of Dubai, and the best part is that your vintage look won’t be compromised!
Mixing luxury and innovation, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai launched a new design for classic vehicles’ license plates, inspired by the plates that were used in the city in the 1980s. The design is aligned with Dubai’s standard vehicle plates, features the words ‘Dubai’ and ‘Classic’ written in both English and Arabic on a yellow background, and the number is placed on a white background.
So, if your vehicle is at least 30 years old, and meets the technical requirements needed, now you can register through RTA’s website or the customer happiness center in Deira and change your current brown plate to the fancy and classic one!
