Best Nanny Award Is a Thing in the UAE and Here’s Everything You Need to Know

This weekend, the most dedicated and hardest working nannies in the UAE will be honored at an awards show that is designed to recognize the massive role they play in our society. Whether helping a single mother raise her family, or caring for the elderly, nannies are crucial to many households across the country. They are repaid immensely by the families they care for by providing them with service occupancy and many other benefits, this also enables the nannies to be there 24/7 in case they’re needed! This is just one of the examples showing how important nannies are and how many families rely on them, which is why these awards are being carried out.

“We were told that there weren’t enough people that would even care, but from the minute we posted the awards, we had tens of people applying daily. What we found is that people really care about their nannies, about supporting them, and their children, and families,” Padmini Gupta, CEO of Rise, an organization that aims to provide further opportunities for domestic workers. Gupta also founded the Best Nanny Award that currently has over 200 nannies fighting for the title. All of the nannies were nominated by their employers, and the award itself attracted more than 100,000 votes.
