Arab Countries Pledge To Combat Climate Change

Arab countries pledge to apply the United Nations framework for climate change. Climate officials across the gulf have gathered for Middle East and North Africa Climate Week in Riyadh, vowing their dedication to the Paris Agreement.

The Paris Agreement is an international climate change treaty adopted by parties at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21). 

The treaty aims to strengthen global responsibility towards combating the effect of climate change world-wide by maintaining the world temperature rise below 2 degrees celsius. 

MENA Officials in the event emphasized the crucial investment of renewable resources and stressed the use of green energy.
