Across Egypt, Accept the Challenge!
Now that i have a motor bike, i’m actually thinking of doing this! Let me introduce you to probably one of the coolest growing initiatives in Egypt “The Cross Egypt Challenge”
So what is it you may be asking? “The Cross Egypt Challenge is a series of endurance scooter rides aiming to promote tourism, alternative sports, and alternative means of transportations in Egypt.”
The series started in 2011 and the first challenge was a 9 days ride from the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in the North of Egypt to the temple of Abu Simbel, on the southern borders of Egypt with a total distance of over 1700 km.
The 2012 season of Cross Egypt Challenge is planned to take place between the dates of October 19-27, 2012 and will include a rough route of 2400 km throughout the most fascinating spots in North Africa and the world, the western Egyptian desert.”
