uDrive Dubai: You Don’t Need to Own a Car to Drive One

Are you sick and tired of taxis, Uber and Careem? Do you just want to drive your own damn car but don’t actually have one? Well, there’s an app for that. We’re not even joking, a new app called uDrive gives its users a chance to rent cars in Dubai for 50 fils per minute.

Users pay Dhs20 per month and then simply rent cars near them via the app. Once you find the car, you can open it using the app from your phone (WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?) and tada! You have a car now. We’ve also found out that the fee of 50 fils per minute adds up to be Dhs30 an hour, but if you spend more than four hours renting the car, you’re no longer charged anything for the rest of the day, AKA you can rent the car for an ENTIRE day for just Dhs120.
