I can overreact for days about the insanity I witnessed. The apocalyptic story is set in a wasteland where water and gasoline are scarce commodities. In a world where humanity is broken, two rebels on the run try to restore order while seeking redemption.

1. This movie literally redefines action, it is non-stop adrenaline

The intense apocalyptic feel with the deranged car chases will leave your head spinning. There is not a single slow or mundane moment in this masterpiece. You will be holding your breath for two hours straight.

2. Viewers can accuse the movie of being feminazi as much as they want

Truth is, Furiosa, the ferocious warrior played by Charlize Theron, puts every proclaimed fighter to shame.

3. Immortan Joe

He’s the tyrannical cult leader and warlord, along with his freakish and fantastical war boys who are willing to die for their leader in the most athletic and entertaining fashion.

4. Nux

Nux is the war boy played by Nicholas Hoult, who manages to creep his way into everyone’s heart with his impressive performance.

5. The Doof Warrior, by far one of the coolest villains the world has ever created

This maniac guitarist serenades the villain cult with metal music on their revenge mission and – get this – the electric guitar is a flame thrower.

6. The clan of stunning child brides who remind us all how unready we are for the beach
