Dubai’s Bold Rebrand: New Logo Signals Thriving Future Initiatives
Taking on a new look, the UAE is launching a new logo, one that embodies the emirate’s transformative journey and how it’s moving toward becoming a city of the future.
“We have revitalised Dubai’s iconic old emblem and adopted it as the new logo for the Government of Dubai,” the Crown Price said.
All government entities will have a six-month transition period to implement the new logo. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council revealed the logo in a special meeting of the reconstituted Executive Council of Dubai.
During the meeting, he also allocated 40 billion dirhams for the ‘Dubai Portfolio for Public-Private Partnership’ for 2024-2026. The portfolio includes increasing government spending to AED700 billion and raising foreign direct investment to AED650 billion by 2033.
Along with that, the Crown Prince also approved Dubai’s affordable housing policy to address housing needs and the ‘Dubai Sandbox’ project, which is designed to support 10 tech ventures in their initial phase.
The housing policy aims to be inclusive, offering a range of housing options suitable for people across different income levels. It’ll also include the development of new accommodations for workers closer to their workplace.
The entire meeting and the launch of the new logo mark the beginning of a new strategic phase to enhance government operations and consolidate Dubai’s global stature.
