7 Moments That Are Basically Every Egyptian Parent When Their Kids Fall Asleep
Life as a parent is nothing like I’ve ever imagined. From tantrums that start the minute I call my boss on the phone, to sleeping with a child literally on the top of my head, constantly thinking about ways to entertain that little fireball running around the house on a mission to destruct and more.
A hot uninterrupted coffee and a Turkish mosalsal episode, eating a proper meal that is not a child’s leftovers, and silence are just some of the things we took for granted and miss as hell ever since we became parents. Yet, when it’s time for the little beasts to finally end their day, me as well as every parent that has ever existed feel so euphoric, we almost have mini-heart attacks. I give you some of the dance moves and other fabulous feelings that perfectly describe us when the kids go to bed.
