Sandra Samir, only 15 years old, is fast becoming an Egyptian national treasure. Samir owns all of Africa in the under-18 age group as the continent’s reigning junior champion and has led Egypt to a 3-0 record in the Junior Fed Cup.

And she’s only getting started. This girl is driven.

“I used to love that I was the champion of Egypt and Africa,” Samir told the New York Times. “But that is not a pleasure anymore. There are higher goals now, and I am working my butt off to get it.”
